Spring Break Part VI - Heading home...

After a great week in Georgia it was time to start making the trek home. We knew it was going to be a two part drive, so we pushed as far as we could get into North Carolina and stopped at a very busy campground right off 95. We lucked out and got one of the last overflow sites they had available, which actually worked out well as it gave us a pretty big grassy area to play in. The campground had some chicks & ducklings that we got to say hello to, a fitting site just two days before Easter. We also got to break out Adam's fishing rod that he got for Christmas, and while we didn't catch anything we did enjoy sitting outside enjoying the view after 8 hours in the car.

As an added bonus to our stop we got to finally dye our Easter eggs!

It was the perfect last night of our Spring Break vacation and gave us the fun and relaxation we needed to face the final leg of the trip.
