Spring Break - Part II - Tybee Island

We arrived on Tybee Island just in time to get set up so we could watch the final round of The Masters. The weather was beautiful and we could tell right away that we were going to really enjoy the campground and location of our vacation. Palm trees everywhere, a spacious campsite, two beaches just a bike ride away, and it seems Tybee Island brews their own beer - & I actually liked it!

Our weather was less than desirable for the week, but we did get one really warm and sunny day where we spent time at the beach and the pool. Adam made a friend at the beach which meant we got to sit back and watch him dig in the sand while we caught some rays.

The island is really adorable with lots of great restaurants and ice cream parlors that were easy to bike to. We stopped at one place that was known for their Bloody Mary's and Oysters - the reviews were right! So good. We also found some of the best pizza & calzones we've ever had. Tybee Island = Foodie Paradise!

Our campground was great with a lot of nice campers nearby. We even had some neighbors come and play corn hole with us a few times. Always love when you can interact with your fellow campers. Adam had a lot of fun playing outside with his bubbles, soccer ball, and any stick he could find - he's becoming quite the ninja!

I could definitely see us going back there again sometime - but we'll hope for less rain and more sunshine!
