Off to Nashville...

Last fall was one of my busiest travel seasons I've ever had. It kicked off with our sales meeting in Palm Springs and just kind of kept going all the way through Christmas. Nashville was next in line (and I'd be back there again a few weeks later) and I was really looking forward to this trip as I hadn't been to the Opryland Hotel since my ASAE days back in 2005.

The trip was for a conference I was exhibiting at but we also planned to visit some customers in town and sneak in some golf! I was happy to be reunited again with my ultrasound bro, Chase. We always have the best time - and we work a booth so well together. Happily one of our industry buddies, Rick, lives in town so he was able to come hang out with us a bit as well.

We did Top Golf one night and I am happy to say I was the leader in the clubhouse for one of our games. Top Golf always makes for a fun night.

Another fun night was when the conference organizers put together a band made up of attendees - who knew we had such talented musicians in our industry! Best of all one of the first friends I made when I joined this industry back in 2006 just happened to be the drummer! Timmy Tims crushed it - and it was awesome to see him again. Needless to say we had fun that night.

I realized I didn't snag any pics of our actual round of golf but I can assure you it was a fun day on the course. Gotta love a conference schedule where the exhibit hours are everyday 4-7! Perfect!

Of course the hotel in and of itself is an attraction. With all the gardens and walkways, shops and restaurants - you really don't need to leave. Loved the dancing fountains and for sure the resort at night was amazing.

Another successful conference trip in the books.
