Harper's First Christmas...(and Adam's 7th...)

Harper must have been super excited about his first Christmas as he had us up by 6:00 (well, and at 1:00, 3:00 and probably some other times as well). We embraced it and enjoyed some quiet time by the tree with him before Adam woke up. Best of all we caught some of his very first smiles which came as a result of seeing the tree and presents - no joke. 

After awhile we decided to go get Adam who was so excited to see what Santa had brought. He could spy from the top of the stairs a stuffed Darth Vader so the morning was already off to a great start for him. Before he could get a closer look it was time for the traditional staircase photo - this year with two new additions - who both behaved so well (of course one of them was sleeping...) 

Santa was oh so good to all of us - as he usually is. Star Wars was definitely the theme of Adam's gifts - everything from Star Wars Battleship to a Star Wars tent and everything in between. There were also lots of books gifted to our awesome reader and some artwork for his room - all done by a colleague of mine - pretty cool. 

Harper got some fun treats as well - some books, rattles and rings, some clothes and cute stuffed animal to snuggle as well. 

Andy and I made out pretty well too - I got my own Lego set to build and Andy got a Nerf Gun that matches one that Adam got - lots of battles to be had, which they love. 

There were mimosas, chocolate milk and sweedish pancakes - yum! 

And then there was the final gift - from father to son - an ATV! What!? 

A great first Christmas for Harper and Adam isn't complaining either. :)
