A Steven Spielberg Halloween...

We had quite the movie/Steven Spielberg themed Halloween this year. Harper went as Jaws (ok, well maybe as a much cuter, kinder, less scary Jaws) and Adam went as Indiana Jones. Before the evening kicked off Adam finally got to carve his pumpkin - he came up with the design himself - seemed fitting after the weekend we'd just had. :)

We had the family over for dinner & trick-or-treating. "Mummy Bolis" and "Monster Minestrone" were on the menu. We took Harper out early and hit a couple of the neighbor's houses before the real trick-or-treating commenced. He was so cute walking around with his candy bucket and saying got so excited each time a new treat was dropped in.

For the main event the moms once again took the kiddos around the neighborhood (to-go wine in hand of course!) while the dads hung back and passed out candy while enjoying a driveway campfire. It's always one of my favorite nights of the year - and this year our neighborhood seemed to be even more in the Halloween spirit with lots of houses decorating - guess we need to up our game for next year!

The kids scored lots and lots of loot and had fun trading it with one another - always a highlight. Andy also took them all for a little Halloween golf cart ride before we all decided to call it a night. Once again Adam scored a ton of full sized candy bars - always boggles my mind - but I guess some people figure go big or get TP'd!! LOL!

Happy Halloween!!
