It was great for Adam to meet his first little cousin and we can't wait to see what trouble they'll cause together! :) Garrett was also excited to see his little cousin, Adam, and even had a rattle ball to give to him. He was such a great playmate for Adam and I know that these little cousins will have so much fun growing up together!
Speaking of cousins, we also got to see all the rest of the nephews (aside from Drew who was off sailing in Annapolis, lucky kid) and it still amazes me how quickly they are all growing up. Sadly, Adam was already sound asleep when they all arrived (Sam had a baseball game) so he missed out on the cousin fun, but we have no doubt there will be plenty more opportunities for him to show off his crawling (and walking?!) skills to them soon!
It was a great night and a good opportunity for all us "kids" to hang out, the only big "kid" missing was Shawn who is in Toronto for baseball season. We had a great BBQ and enjoyed sitting on the deck catching up until almost midnight--way past my bedtime, but it was worth it!
Always great to spend time with family...old and new! :)
