1st Baseball Game...almost....

The weather this spring has been - well - springy! Lots and lots of rain has but a damper on a lot of outdoor plans - including the opening weekend of spring baseball. Adam was all excited that he was going to be in a parade at Reston Town Center ahead of his first game as a National (coach pitch this season). Sadly - the rain and might I add, frigid temperatures had other plans. Opening weekend = canceled. Bummer. 

The next weekend we missed the game because of our fun camping trip to Virginia Beach - oops. So we were all excited for the second game of the season - Adam's first - two weekends ago. We got the family all decked out in their Nationals gear - headed to the field and alas - the rain came and never left. Game = canceled. 

At least we got some cute pictures!! 

Don't worry - Adam does eventually get to play in a game - more on that later.
