Snowmagoodness...what a winter!

Wow did we get a lot of snow this winter (and spring!) I still can't believe how much use Adam's snow pants got (especially considering the pair I bought him last year were used once - in an inch of snow.) We did make the most of each snow storm, finding that our side yard made for the perfect sledding hill. Here's just a few photos and videos from the epic winter of 2014! 

SNOW!!!

I should have been in Florida for a conference, but luckily my flights gave me a break and offered me an opportunity to see Adam enjoy his first shot at sledding! The snow seemed relentless and boy did we enjoy our "free day!"

Adam loved every moment in the winter wonderland and he hated having to come inside. So many memories brewing of when Andy & I were kids playing in the snow. So fun!

Snow Day!?

March is such a weird and frustrating month.  Always enter into it hoping for warm weather and am always surprised when it's still cold. Will I ever learn? Probably not...

While I wasn't thrilled with snow in March, I know one little guy that couldn't have been happier to wake up to find he was off the hook for going to school because it was a SNOW DAY! 

I'll admit, while I wasn't loving the snow, seeing Adam's face light up made it all seem worth it...the hot chocolate also helped...

Snow!!!

After two winters of foolishly buying snow pants and snow boots for Adam and never taking the tags off, we finally got enough snow (granted this was a month ago) for us to play in!  While admittedly a tad small, his snowsuit from last year still fit, so the tags finally came off!

Adam loved making snow angels and insisted that both Andy and I make them as well. There wasn't quite enough snow to do much else with, but for those 15 minutes Adam finally got to enjoy a mini-winter wonderland!
