Back to Bull Run...

This particular Bull Run camping weekend was all about new experiences. It all started with a Friday night camp fire sing-a-long with camp host Rick who reminded me so much of my Uncle Tim. He sang lots of James Taylor songs, played American Pie, and even knew my all time favorite - Back to Pooh Corner - a song my uncle would always sing for me. Adam made lots of friends and they played flashlight tag and made s'mores together. It was just the perfect start to the weekend.

We spent the next day riding bikes and playing at the park - Adam even pulled Harper in the bike trailer - it was pretty awesome. We also hit up the pool and while Harper was still a bit weary of it he did manage to finally go down a few slides. The splash pad still frightened him but as long as he kept his distance he didn't mind and it allowed us to stay longer so Adam could enjoy the water park with his new friends.

Then it was time for more bike riding, more park time and even a special treat of picking out toys at the camp store. Harper chose bubbles (of course) and Adam got these awesome finger lights which made for some pretty cool photos.

Lazy days spent at the camper as a family are what summer dreams are made of!
