Big boy bed!

We moved Harper to his big boy bed back in April & my heart wanted to explode both out of sadness that he was saying goodbye to his crib and out of excitement for what a big big boy he is he becoming. 

Andy built some really cool custom rails to go on his bed so he won't fall out - that's kind of the key to this whole transition - and after a few false starts where he begged to go back in his crib after reading in his bed he finally got the courage to sleep through the night in his bed. Adam was the one who really helped encourage him to stay - what an awesome big brother. So amazing to watch the two of them lay in bed while Adam reads to him - my heart is in a perpetual state of explosion!
