Adam's Ninja Warrior Birthday Party...

It's been a hot second since Adam's had a birthday party. Harper kind of got in the way of one two years ago and last year we opted for family party instead so this year we knew it was time to throw our buddy a legit birthday party with his friends. Adam is obsessed with the show American Ninja Warrior and I was so excited to find a gym in town that has a kids Ninja Warrior course and offers birthday parties. So with 5 friends in tow, Adam enjoyed the best birthday party (and might I mention the most chill, low cost, & headache free) ever! 

The boys had so much fun and since there were 6 of them they split into two teams. The obstacles were pretty cool and they all did so well at overcoming the challenges. Adam was all smiles and so were Andy and I - how could you not be watching the pure joy on your child's face?! 

After the Ninja Warrior portion was over we walked (well, they ran!) to the courtyard in the town center for drinks, snacks and birthday cupcakes. They chowed down, had conversation, and before long they were back up running and playing again while they waited for their folks to arrive - where do they find the energy!? 

It really was the best birthday party ever - and Adam totally agreed! The other boys were also raving about it. Will be hard to top - but who knows, maybe we'll just do it all again next year! Happy birthday (again!) to our Ninja Warrior! 

PS: One of his friends gave him the BEST gift - he's super into origami these days and they gifted him origami paper and a Star Wars origami book - you can't fake this kind of reaction.
