The Polar Bear Plunge!

Is there a better way to say goodbye to 2013 than with a dip in the chilly Atlantic Ocean? Apparently Adam didn't think so. Our crazy little buddy decided he just had to join the rest of the Polar Bear Plunge crew at Ocean Lakes and we happily watched....with sweatshirts on.

The smile on his face seems to say "I love this! What could be better than playing in the ocean in December!?"

Though it was hard to tell which direction he ran faster....into the water...

Or out of the water...

A "cool" memory for sure!

Christmas Camping...

We continued our tradition of heading south for Christmas vacation. We didn't necessarily find warmer temperatures or sunnier skies, but we did enjoy the following...

Beautiful beachy views...

Adam's first movie - Frozen - sooooo good! Can't wait for it to come out on DVD...

Playing cards...

Putt Putt...

Road trips...

Hikes...

Swings...

Movie watching...

Bowling...

Cheese Shop dining...

And of course we had a wonderful visit with Don & Mae Mae (not pictured, how did that happen?!)

Christmas at Grandma & Grandpa's...

After a very fun and relaxing Christmas morning and afternoon we packed up some more gifts and headed to Grandma & Grandpa's to continue the celebration.

Adam & Olivia loved spending Christmas together. They "oohed" and "aaahed" over the gifts they each opened up and even got a few join gifts they got to open together. Before long they were both ready to get downstairs so they could start playing will all the great toys they received!

The evening was capped off by a wonderful Christmas feast prepared by Grandma & Grandpa. It was definitely a Christmas worth toasting! Cheers!

Our time with Al...

This Christmas season we were visiting once again by Adam's very own elf, Al. Al showed up on December 1st under Adam's tree and surprised us every morning after that by popping up in all kinds of funny and sometimes mischievous places. Al must have given Santa lots of really good reports each night as there wasn't even a dusting of coal to be found on Christmas morning. Here's a look back at all of Al's silliness!

Al headed back to the North Pole with Santa on Christmas Eve but left this note for Adam:

My Dear Adam - I enjoyed spending time with you again this Christmas season. You were such a good boy. I'm looking forward to heading back to the North Pole to see my family & friends for the next 11 months. I know you'll be good while I'm gone. Who knows, I may even stop by for a visit. Be kind my sweet Adam. Love, Al
